On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the two heads of state reiterated their joint commitment to deepening the consensus reached during the visit of the President of the French Republic to China from April 5th to 7th, 2023, and opening up new channels of cooperation.

Both sides will also rely on the work carried out at the United Nations level to strengthen international cooperation in artificial intelligence governance and interoperability between various artificial intelligence governance frameworks and initiatives, such as relying on the work carried out within the United Nations Secretary General's High level Advisory Body on Artificial Intelligence or on the basis of the UNESCO Recommendation on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence.

Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening international cooperation to ensure international security and stability, as well as respect for sovereignty and fundamental rights, in the context of rapid technological development.
