The 2024 China Africa Internet Development and Cooperation Forum was held in Xiamen, China, from April 2 to 3, 2024, and conducted in depth exchanges on China Africa AI cooperation. Artificial intelligence is a new field of human development. Currently, the rapid development of global artificial intelligence technology has had a profound impact on economic and social development as well as human civilization progress, bringing enormous opportunities to the world. Africa is an important participant in technological progress, and the development and application of artificial intelligence are of great significance to developing countries, including China and African countries. Promote the establishment of China Africa AI policy dialogue and cooperation mechanism, make full use of international cooperation platforms such as the China Africa Internet Development and Cooperation Forum, exchange and dialogue on AI policies, technologies, industries, applications, governance, etc., and share best practices. China and Africa should strengthen coordination and cooperation under multilateral frameworks such as the United Nations, enhance the representation and voice of developing countries in the global development and governance of artificial intelligence, support the United Nations in playing the main channel role, and establish an international governance institution for artificial intelligence.
